Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 15, 2026

PicJax is a single-player puzzle game. The game itself collects no personal data — your progress, best runs and pictures stay on your device. The ads that keep the game free are served by Google AdMob, described below.

Data we collect ourselves

None.

Advertising

PicJax shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google may process:

We never receive this data ourselves and we never sell personal data. Google processes it under its own policies — see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. On iOS we do not request tracking permission, so ads are non-personalised; you can further limit ad personalisation in your device settings (iOS: Privacy → Tracking; Android: Ads). In regions that require consent (EEA/UK), ads are shown only as permitted by the platform's consent tools.

Photos you choose

The app can use a picture you select from your device's photo library as the puzzle picture. That picture is processed entirely on your device and is used only to render the puzzle. It is never uploaded, stored on any server, or shared.

Local game data

Your progress (levels completed, best scores, and move logs) is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. It never leaves your device.

Network connections

The app has no servers of its own. Ad requests and other platform services use HTTPS connections provided by the operating system and Google's SDK.

Children's privacy

The game is suitable for all ages and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. When the app is listed for families, ad serving is limited to child-directed, non-personalised ads.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
